Re: Tain main page not working
I was trying to add realistic water to some of the maps on the Tain, but it turns out pouring it all over the server wasn't the right way to do that, sorry!

Re: MythIV The Wind Age Multiplayer HD DEMO has been released!
I'd just like to throw in that for Mac users Leopard actually uses a helper thread for OpenGL (not always though, I've yet to find anything that describes the process properly), so running Myth with OpenGL rendering you may get that extra thread which makes it play a little bit nicer on multi-core m...

Re: Scripting more professionally
Likewise, I've been using the theme since it was introduced, I just the private message backgrounds and a few other boxes go fixed so we don't have light text on white :P That and my web-sites tend to use dark backgrounds with light text, though my current web-sites overhaul has fallen by the way-si...

Re: Scripting more professionally
4 - How do you program an enemy unit to hack at your back or quit attacking you? Consider those lone Myrmidons from Myth TFL mission Pools of Iron. If Alric faces towards a Myrmidon he'll turn his back and flee like a rat, but when Alric turns his back then the Myrmidon will return and try to back-...

Re: Scripts Lagging Behind Game
GEOMs are usually the killers, also there is a hard-limit of (I think) six map actions executed per tick, so if you have more than this waiting to be executed then you may end up with actions that are executing every two or more ticks instead. What are the GEOMs doing? Sometimes it's possible to use...

The Myth Wikipedia Article
Hey folks, I recently popped by the Myth Wikipedia article , and while it has improved a little bit from last time I saw it, it could still use some work. Now, I may hack and slash my way through it and try to tidy it up at some point, but I'm kind of hoping some other folks might be interested in t...

Re: Myth TFL map loading problem
Also, after trying to load the map, close Myth 2 and look inside your myth_log.txt file (same folder as Myth 2), copy-paste what's there as it could identify any files you may have missing for some reason, or where exactly the failure occurs.

Seems a bit of a poor weakness when fetch aren't really all that common a unit, and certainly not on a light-sided teamZeph wrote:trow iron warriors are very weak to fetch lightnings

Re: BREAKING NEWS: ElusiveMind Alive And <a href=
I also think claiming you want to create your own versions of M1 and M2 to get back to the original versions because PM 'heavily modded' M2, while yourself simultaneously planning a ton of fixes and enhancements for Myth 3 is pretty hypocritical. And pretty pointless; at it's core Myth 2 is still b...

Re: Plugins question
Are you able to enable them in the plugin-window? If so, you may need to hold shift while clicking okay to force all single-player maps to be listed, and ought to be able to find the maps then.

Re: How to install linux on a mac?
As far as I remember the preferred Linux flavour for older Macs like that is Yellow Dog Linux, however compatibility for PowerPC based machines has improved somewhat despite Apple's move to Intel, partly because of all the consoles with PowerPC based chips in them right now, so there may be other va...
