vTFL makes Myth 1.7 crash

I found a bug regarding vTFL on Myth 1.7, at least on the Windows Modern patch. Steps to reproduce: 1. Do a clean install of Myth: Soulblighter 2. Patch DIRECTLY to Myth 1.7. This is important. 3. Load up the game and try to create a multiplayer game with vTFL on. 4. Myth will crash to the desktop. ...

Re: Info about the Jerky Camera (Low FPS) Problem

I specifically asked for Windows XP because I'm not too confident in Vista. I love this guy. Hey thanks! I love Godzilla too! :D Thanks for the links Melekor. I found info about that exact command you posted. I've been doing some research, and it seems that Windows Media Player uses some high preci...

Re: Info about the Jerky Camera (Low FPS) Problem

Thanks for the response Myrd! My Windows XP was installed by scratch by the store guys where I bought it. I specifically asked for Windows XP because I'm not too confident in Vista. And yes, I'm using Service Pack 3 and it's the exactly same thing. I took a look at the link you provided, and I guess...

Re: Info about the Jerky Camera (Low FPS) Problem

Sorry to resurrect a dead topic, but I just wanna give an update: I recently got a new PC, vastly superior to my old one in every way :) . The thing is, I still got the problem I mention in this topic. There's one exception though: after patch 1.7, the camera works smoothly anytime, (which is no sur...

Re: Soulblighter additions Spike's wish list

If better stabbing means more damage, please god no. Myth 2 is already very artillery focused, and I already think the stab is too good. I miss TFL punches : (. What I want to ask Magma is about a feature that only works on TFL and vTFL (at least I never managed to do it on Myth 2 gameplay). In TFL ...

Re: Postmortem: Bungie's Myth: The Fallen Lords Article

Excellent topic. It's really interesting to see how the best game ever made was idealized and developed.

The ironic thing is that today you have those 50-70 people teams making games, and they can't even come close to making something good as Myth TFL, IMHO anyway.

Actually it's impossible for me to give a second chance to the M2 levels... because I already gave them like 100. I'm from the =IX=, which is basically a COOP order. I've played the M2 levels countless times on coop, just ask Tireces (hey Tir!). I'm not saying they are bad, they aren't memorable lik...

From TFL, I pretty much liked every level (maybe an exception is Ambush at Devil's Overlook). My favorites are Crow's Bridge, Traitor's Grave, Watcher, Last Battle, Great Devoid, A Long Awaited Party and Shadow of the Mountain. From Myth 2, I dunno. It felt that most maps played the same, so I don't...

heh, I love how there are like...4 versions of creep already...the magma is the most widely used an accessible. Well, you have to consider that Creep on the Borderlands is the best map Bungie ever made, so it deserves the attention! :P Anyway, the changes are included in the readme, and from what I...

Do you mind uploading Creep on the Borderlands to the Tain? Rapidshare files have a tendency to expire.

Since you are using Windows, holding the Windows key on the keyboard works too. But sometimes it minimizes Myth, so I don't recommend it.

It's a 1.5 patch thing. There's no way you can change it, as far as I know.
Don't ask me why it was changed though, I think it worked fine before.

Oh by the way, you can still change unit directions. Use gesture click using the left button.

The current patch (1.6) fixs this bug.
Actually, most retail copies didn't have the bug as far as I know, because they were patched to version 1.1.
