Brainbug, I've uploaded a build which behaves a bit differently; it recreates the window every time you switch between renderers, and it never has both an opengl and d3d context open at the same time. Can you see if this version still causes the problem?

New build up: misc fixes, got rid of the gotfocus log message, added yet more D3D log messages, made myth remember your fullscreen/windowed mode state in the prefs file.

Heh, I see that I forgot to take that gotfocus=1 message out :(((( And yes those screenshots do look pretty messed up. I think this one is going to be hard to track down, it is most likely related to some obscure detail that is specific to your hardware... EDIT: BTW, Ctrl-F12 isn't supposed to work...

Myth's CPU usage behavior hasn't changed between 1.5.1 and my version (Yet). I will be looking into CPU usage reduction in the future.

Wh00t! New build up.

I ripped out every last bit of directinput code and replaced it with regular win32 stuff. I fixed the mouse wheel and the first click activation thing. Hopefully I haven't introduced any new bugs along the way.(wishfull thinking, I know.) Anyways, check the new build out.

Now that I think about it, since fixing the mouse wheel thing will mean overhauling the mouse input code anyways(replacing directinput), the first click detection may be easier under the new system. I'm going to keep it in mind. Thanks Orlando.

I don't think so Orlando... I just tried some other programs and interpreting the 1st click as a command seems to be standard behavior(for all of the programs I tried). Also, I think implementing the first click detection would be more trouble than it's worth.

Myrd: Indeed you are correct. After some investigation I found out that what happened was that my windows key disabling fix indirectly prevented alt-f4 from working.

I've uploaded a new build that should fix it :)

I've uploaded a new build that doesn't minimize when it loses focus. Capital, I like your ideas for the customizable settings, but I'm not going to start adding all kinds of options at the moment. I agree it would be nice, but it's a lot easier if I keep it simple. When you try the new build, one t...

So Brainbug, did the myth_log reveal anything using the new build or is it just the same as before?

Myrd, can you please reply to my last post about your alt-f4 issue?

Ok, I see your point about not having to switch windows. How about making it behave that way only when you're not in a game, would that be a good solution? About the fonts thing: Are you sure you're using the same renderer? The font looks different with different renderers. I can 100% guarantee tha...

Heinzoloiger, I got it your idea working, but now that I did, it seems like the old behavior is actually more desirable. When you want to switch tasks, it seems better if myth is out of the way, not using your cpu power while behind other windows. Can you elaborate on how you think it's going to be...

Myrd: I've set it up so that pressing alt-f4 is exactly like pressing escape. Isn't that the behavior that you're experiencing? Heinzoloiger: Thanks for the praise :) I'll look into your idea of keeping the window visible when it loses focus. I'm pretty sure that it will be possible. Edited By Mele...

Do you have an "Official Oak Page" for status updates etc. other than the screenshots? Just curious. :) Not at the moment. Once I have enough content, I will replace that lame "coming soonâ„¢" page with the "Official Oak Page". Don't expect anything too fancy though, I...
