Kurunglu, load Myth2. Go to Preferences > Interfaces. Select Myth II Interface (640x480). Does that help?

What do you mean by this? The ping showing in the pregame lobby is always on for me without having to use a dot command for it. Is yours always off and you always have to turn it on? I'm on Windows.

Install the latest version of Myth2 found at the Tain . Gate of Storms is the current metaserver for games. You can choose to make an account there or just log in as a guest. Yeahhh but more choices that are included standard is nice so that everyone is capable of playing it without use of a plug. I've tried five or six times now to download that file but at most reaching 1.2gb then it fails. Go to this thread and use the alternate link to get it. Worked for me. As for the tagset stuff. You will also need Fear, which is installed using the latest Myth2 update if you check the mapmaking tools...

You didn't have this issue with the first beta installer? Could you try downloading it again just to make sure it wasn't corrupt? If you can't get it to work, in the meantime you could try a manual install. As Myrd mentioned in a different thread: You can show package contents and find required.zip....

When Microsoft bought Bungie, Take Two owned a fraction of Bungie. So a deal was struck so that Take Two got the rights of Myth and Oni in exchange for Bungie owning that fraction back.

For Mac users, the Myth2 1.8.2 beta expects you to have installed 1.8.1 before hand. So install 1.8.1 (Mac OSX) and then run the 1.8.2 beta update after that.

If that does not fix the issue, do as hmp suggested as the myth log will tell us what is wrong.

While Bungie made the games, the rights lay with Take Two. Attempts to get them to have the game available for digital download have been made in the past but none have succeeded.

I just made one, Zoom Extended . Only works on the default solo/multi maps for this beta. Requires the new 1.8.2 public beta 2 at minimum to work. Others in the game don't need to be on that version for you to enjoy your extended zoom. They will need the plugin however. If it helps, use Shift zoom i...
