Re: Bored today so I made something...

Thanks, your effort helps me to see that a certain player with a life ban from Mariusnet is currently playing

15 years, brah.

I don't think anything will happen unless you find someone willing to make a US$100,000+ donation to Take2's quarterly profit margin.

Re: Steam Greenlight is a last chance for MYTH II

We're more likely to have luck persuading Valve to buy Myth than to get Take2 to re-release it on Steam :?

Re: OMGWTF #38

Is there an archive of the previous 37 somewhere? i have a feeling you'd have to say or do something pretty significantly dumb to become the focus of one of Cheeze's cartoons. So while any publicity/status seeking myther can aspire to being mentioned in one, it's just being the primary focus of one ...

Re: LOL Iron!

The game is 15 years old around about now :!:

What was the actual release date? Gamespot says October 31, Mobygames says 14 November, other sites say 25 November.

Re: Myth 1.8

SSD wear out and are prone to sudden catastrophic failure. If you're going to use one you need to be aware of that. Their reliability is decreasing with each new generation too. The swap file should be either restricted to a spinning hard disc or disabled, I think doing that on Windows 7 requires a ...

Re: Myth 2 on ARM

It is really up to the devs as to what they consider worthwhile expending their efforts on. Android on ARM tablets is undergoing absolutely explosive growth so vanilla Linux on ARM as exemplified by this device could be a good stepping stone towards that. I wonder if a kickstart style project would ...

Re: question regarding compatability

I was talking about the new computer he was building next year. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_7_editions#Comparison_chart http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_8_editions There are some advantages to Win7 Pro but I don't think many people would need Ultimate. Almost everybody hates ...

Re: Myth 2 on ARM

There's actually a heap of ARM-based board computers out there, the Raspberry Pi just being the most famous and probably the cheapest. The Raspberry Pi is only just strong enough to run Myth II but there'll soon be hundreds of thousands of the things out there. The Pandaboard ES seems to give the be...

Re: Myth 3

At release time it was so dysfunctional that out of Windows 95/98/98SE/NT/Win2k/WinXP it mostly only booted on one or two of them. They put down it as being compatible with Windows 95 on the box despite its never being able to run on it. Out of S3, ATI, nVidia, Voodoo and Matrox chipsets, I think it...
