Ah yes, Maug. Your posts make wish I had gotten involved sooner too. One tidbit you forgot to mention in your Chimera/Badlands history is that mcd, a member of Project Magma for over a year, was one of the people who worked on Chimera.

Baak, units with multiple artifacts/inventory is definetly the way to go. It allows you up to 10 times the number of different attacks per unit compared to pre-1.5.

Hey Dio, have you tried giving vTFL another shot?

Unlike vTFL in M2 1.4, which was Project Magma's best approximation of TFL behaviour, in M2 1.5 it is actual TFL code, more or less copy and pasted into M2. Same taste, none of the carbs or calories.

DA, is it the game that stops, or your control that stops, i.e. camera and mouse movement, or typing chat? The later is another case of chat/input lag.

With all units I'm afraid your options are more limited. I glanced at your tags, but am still not sure what you want to do.

Have an inventory 0: no artifact (uses special attack costing ammo) and inventory 1: carried projectile (uses a different special attack, no ammo required)?

Is it possible for a unit to only have one artifact and be able to choose the artifact or nothing?
