Re: for free - all my map files!

haha long time no see man!

I need to get on HL. I just got engaged yesterday so things have been somewhat crazy, but my office is now all squared away in the house so I can set things up finally to copy files now.

Re: for free - all my map files!

well here's the problem - it's an old mac. i connected my external drive to the thing but it wants to format it (its NTFS). Question for those who still use OS9- if you format something in OS9 can the PC read it? I have a pretty solid LAN so it would be easiest if I could just FTP the things to my s...

for free - all my map files!

Hey guys- long time no see! I'm giving away the imac here pretty soon to get rid of clutter in the house (haven't used it in years). it still runs and has tons of mapmaking files on it from myth TFL and myth 2. Before I wipe the thing I wanted to offload all my old myth stuff (shame to delete it). I...

Part 2! - also updated... You may notice that the scale of the pattern won't really work too well for grass, so we'll need to get some detail in there. Head back to the pattern. We'll scale it down and define it as a pattern again. Make sure when you scale it down that you do it by a percentile tha...

Grass Tutorial - I'd like to think of it as uber...

Updated May 28th 2010 by DeadMan... No more broken links! In the past week I've gotten two people asking me how to make a good looking grass texture. I'm not sure if this trend will continue, but I figured that rather than keep getting more and more halfassed in my description of it, I would just m...

EDIT: New sketches! I've been reading up on the forums and it looked like it would have been portable, save for my crazy-ass scripting not working in M2. Here's the funny part... GR started in M2, and pretty much all the features that were impletemented in TFL were impletemented in M2. I only decid...
