Morale in this instance controls how well units fight, by temporarily increasing (or decreasing) their experience level. Unfortunately there's no easy way of making units break and run in Myth as happens in TW, and I don't think it'd be desirable anyway.
Morale requires the latest Windows Fear to turn on the relevant flags in the monster tag. It allows you to define one unit as being a captain-like unit that can affect other unit's morale. You define the amount of "kills" it increases experience by, and the radius in which this takes effect. You can also say how many kills it lowers enemy units experience by.
There's another flag that lets you say which units are affected by morale. Btw I don't think Myth 3 lets you define morale as affecting enemy units, but I could be wrong.

Does morale alter regular bungie maps or just specially created ones? Specially created ones I asume.
The Idiot Map-Making Collective make Myth III maps, and Lothar, Renwood and Golden God do plenty of one-man-team maps. So does The Wolf, but he's rather inactive.
TFS opens it's doors to anyone, but rite now we need no more help in our current project. Soon we will upload our previously unreleased work, and a final beta for our Cloudspine h4x0r map. which rules (in my biased opinion).
I'd like to see the number of units allowed increased for Myth III (tho you keep talkin about 'Myth' I asume you mean Myth II, yes?). Full-melee battles look amazing on that game, if you put on max units for a 2-team map. It gets rid of the need for an RTW style plug, if you only want a melee battle. I'm guessing you wouldn't, but try a full melee on that level with the french name - it might inspire you with making Myth Total War...

Morale doesn't alter maps at all, per se. The impression that I get is that it alters the units themselves, so if you put a morale-inducing unit on any map, it will affect other units.
You're right, I forgot Idiot Collective. I feel sheepish, because I love all their stuff. I know there are plenty of single mapmakers out there, but I was talking about teams specifically. I can't wait to see what you TFS guys have been up to!

That's what I meant about morale. What I asked (in a confusing way) was if 'hero units' in regular maps had been already altered for morale.
You really won't be very excited by anything we've done, except our spirit lord, who isn't brilliant.
