Small tag error - Help! ;)

hi, well i found my myth 2 cd the other day and i would really like to play;) however, to my dismay, during the installation process i find that the the program locks up while transferring the international small install tag. i suspect the file is corrupt although my cd looks alright. if anyone wouldnt mind hopping on AIM or something and sending me the tag, i'd be much obliged! my aim is "alostpairofpants".

if this helps - you can tell me what times would be best for you...also, im not on dialup, so it shouldnt take Forever...Or if anyone has another idea then let me know.

There may Be a Copy of the International Small Install tag Here for a short Period of Time.

happened to me as well...on my TFL disk as well....cept it was the large install tags on both....well...TFL was the equivilent....artsound.gor didnt install

TarousZars - thank you alot! my apologies for being not as alert as i should have been...i feel bad that i don't have anything to exchange, but uhh i have lots of ripped cds if you want any! i recently got this cd by a band called Party of Helicopters that's great, although i dont know if youll like it, but if you want to check it out or anything else i have, just ask.

I have the same problem. If I download this file, how do I get past 3% (where i get the error every time using small install)

If you cant get past 3 percent do this.

Install the patch from magma to a new folder.
then drag the tags folder and cutscenes from your cd to this folder.
you should be good to go.

if a file doesnt copy, tell me I may be able to help you

Actually, I did the custom install and installed the program files. Then I copied the international small file from my cd to my tags folder. When I tried to copy the small install tags file, i get an error every time. This bugs me because I got this to install yesterday with out a hitch, and today I've got a problem with it.

I'll try installing the patch and try copying it from my cd again, and If it doesn't work, I'll let you know. Thanks for your help

yeah it doesn't work

I need either the "small install" or the "large install" file and I don't know if I need "medium install" (in the tags folder on the cd). The two international installs copied fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated

1 more thing, if you are on a mac, try making a disk image, weird as it sounds, i was able to revive a scratched disk that way and make a backup.

If that isn't an option or doesnt work, then tell me.
