Resetting resolution in Wine, getting Fear to work

After I finish Myth with the Wine windows emulator, my screen resolution is like 320x240 or something very low. Normally, I can change the resolution of my monitor by typing CTRL-ALT-+, but after Myth finishes, this is not possible.

Is there any suggestion for getting this to work?

Also, the Fear 1.5.1 or standard Fear editor, neither renders text. Instead, there are little boxes where there should be text.

Is there anyway to get Fear to show readable text so that I can change my formations?
