I have to zoom out at the start of each game...

Ever since I got into myth back in 1998, I have had to press the "v" key at the start of each game in order to zoom out from the default resolution to my resolution.

Is there anyway to get the zoom out to happen without me doing it manually each time?

Either someone added script in Loathing so you could set the zoom height in a OBMO action - or someone wanted them to do it. In either case, if you added said script to the start of a given level, the effect would be quite achievable.

But, what about a game-wide pref to always be fully zoomed out? I think that's what princepawn wants.

You jsut make the zoom out velocity really really really high so that instead of having to hold v, you could just press it once
