Oro: When in doubt, hit T.

Gleep: That comes out in time for Christmas with the Mazz V Special Edition DVD, which includes 1 hour and 23 minutes of extended playing time, bonus features like "The making of forum posts related to Mazz V", "Strider Bloopers", and uncut and uncensored commentary by the director after every time the beta testers lost another game.

GizmoHB wrote:wow what a response, lots of fancy words...I dont like fancy words...its always makes me feel like im talking to robots...and usually the ppl needing the most complex words to explain something are the ones that have no idea what the fuck they're talking about (not saying u dont) anyway, not trying to start a discussion about a font (because it really doesn't matter and i dont have time for it anyway) but if u wanna know why I dislike the font used then read on.....if its gonna lead to u getting pissed at me or something then dont bother and stop reading...

even though I said "it pretty much suckz" I only meant its in a positive way...learn from it and do better next time (if there will be a next time), never to old or good to learn something new I guess...

font used is a standard font as u already said...its a new/original/creative map...meaning it deserves a new/original (or "different") font..or u could have atleast used some effects or something on the text (its just bright red)
red on a black background is just a waste of MBs, u could have shown the map or characters or something while the text was on screen...guess thats all...

oh and i wont be on the first team to beat the map...if id want a high res trailer id simply beg =)

I would argue that the dumbing down of language (pardon the vernacular) leads to less clarity in discourse these days. My point is evinced in your "'it pretty much suckz' I only meant its in a positive way" conceit. Or was this merely a manifestation of cognitive dissonance?

Mostly I responded because I thought your post was funny in both a strange and humorous sense. Taking the time, even for just a moment, to post about typography to a forum for a game you do not like or play just struck me as odd. So I thought I'd post a REALLY odd reply in return.

Then again I like reading Civil War letters (apparently authored by 1337 lexicon robots of which you and CP speak).

As to why you dislike the font, 'tis your opinion. I don't think it's supported, for the reasons I listed previously, but I thought that the emoticons I used indicated that I like your post. I wasn't pissed at you. :) <---see! :)

Hell, I'm glad you like the movie! It was nice of you to post an overall thumbs up. I appreciate it. I will do better next time. :)

Walls, you say? I didn't see any walls in the trailer. Good lord. That could offer strategic differences (ie. cowering in corners, licking wounds) that would interest me in playing it.
Yup Snapz Pro to screen capture the scenes. iMovie to edit. Tiger and a Mac

---

Yes walls. The walls of the map. Raised mesh edges which prevent escape. You can run but you cannot hide.

BTW-- see the dragons? Nasty nasty nasty! Unless a mage gets ahold of a dragon tamer artifact. Then the fun begins! ;>

I never said I didnt like myth...I just dont play it a lot...I hang out on the hotline just to annoy the small creative part of the myth community, and sometimes make something myself just to deleted it when I get bored...but just for u I will give the map a try...

Bah - Never liked the dragons during beta last year. They waddled. Big beautiful wings, able to fly faster than a plummeting shag... And they they are, waddling around like my Auntie Krayga (she's in charge of the metaphysical orrery, well respected, but she's waiting for a hip operation: very tragic for a dragonelle.)

You don't need an artifact to tame a dragon. I'll pretty much do your housework for a born-again virgin and a beer.

My bad. I should have posted the music credits. Yes of course its from the Matrix. It is called Navras, by Juno Reactor and Don Davis. Nine mins long and highly recommended.

And the video, that was produced from a old game made by Bungie, called Myth Two: Soublighter, now owned by Take Two with mods from Project Magma, ChrisP, and a cast of thousands.

Oh and I used a router from linksys to upload it on to a udogs.net server.

And finally I should note that my cat added "ayrqrjrf0jg fnf fo ffjq" to the film titles, but I removed them due to lack of screen time and lack of intent (im guessing) as she was just walking over my keyboard while I was away getting a Dr. Pepper.
