the 7th God campaign problems - can't win certain levels

I can't beat level 6 (dwarves defending the hill) without using the control + cheat.

After I find the northern entrance to the enemy camp in level 9, the camera pans back to the stoned enemies and the elven mage is shooting lightning in every direction, and keeps doing so ad infititum. The units around him get hurt but their life goes back up. No win sequence, just that.

I'm playing it all on heroic. What's wrong with it? If it can't be fixed, can someone tells me what happens at the end of level 6 and 9 minus the scripting problems it's having?

So I don't look like a total tool: yes I'm aware that creation made TSG and not Magma, but I posted here because of the later update work that was done for 1.4 and those updater folks might read this here.
