I owned Myth II many years ago, and back then I was a little kid who enjoyed messing around with Fear. I couldn't even understand much English, but somehow I managed to do some... interesting stuff.
Anyways, I recently got the game again. I want to make an archer unit capable of shooting to the other end of the level, and a mortar dwarf unit who can do the same thing (nothing serious, I just want to mess around a little), but changing the ranges doesn't seem to do anything at all. My mortar dwarf still has the same range as anyone, even though I change the minimum and maximum range to 0.000 - 63.000, it still fires at the same distance as any other mortar unit. I've tried changing the ranges to 64.000 and over, but that somehow makes the number negative. Sorry for being an annoying newb asking stupid questions.

Two things you can do:

Try increasing the velocity of the attack up to as high as 0.500.

Find the object tag for the projectile you're using as a missile. Change the gravity setting from -0.04 to -0.02.

Thanks a lot, that did it. Another question: I installed the newest 1.51 patch, and after that, Fallen Levels v2 plugin. I made the plugin active etc, and I can see the levels in the list. But when it loads the level, it crashes to the starting menu. It does show the scrolling text and dialogue before it loads the first level, though. What did I do wrong?

Before loading a plugin, you should remove your local folder. The tags in the local will often conflict with tags in whatever plugin you are trying to load. Obviously you wouldn't want to delete it because it contains the stuff you've been making; just stick it somewhere else temporarily.
