Please pardon my intruding, but I didn't know where else to turn to...

I was just wondering if there's any way to export Myth II models (to 3DS, or another more usable format) and with their texture collections still mapped on? (Y'know, without having to extract the textures seperately and manually re-paint them onto the object once it's in an editor?)

The last time I tried to do any Myth editing, I still was using OS 9, so I'm a bit out of touch with any recent utility developments.

Can...anyone help me out?

For models, myth hasn't really advanced much since OS9. We're still stuck with Apathy and Vegas, and a new app called GeomView (available for DL at playmyth.net), which will allow you to export TFL or M2 Geometry tags to 3dmf format.

From there you can import into any modeler program and paste the textures back on. If you've got at a mac it takes all of 10 seconds to export your bitmaps and then maybe all of 10 minutes to re-apply them in 3DS Max or whatever you're using...

But to answer your question straightforwardly, no, there is no way to export Myth models with textures intact. :(
