I'm a Myth player from way back and its good to see there is still an active community.
A quick look around tells me that Take 2 bought the intellectual property rights to Myth, then farmed out Myth III to Mumbo Jumbo, who subsequently botched it. I can't find anything on Myth at Take 2's website, other than a brief "Myth is a game" note somewhere on the bottom of a page somewhere.
So my question is, does anyone here have any contact with the people at Take 2 and if so who would be the best person to talk to there regarding Myth?
Is anyone in contact with Take 2? - A few questions about IP rights

Well, there is sort of a contact one of the programmers has, but much to the disapointment of many, any requests with even a hint that the current status-quo might be altered are treated the way you might expect the Ferrari corporate office to respond to a call from a 15-year old asking to test drive one of their vintage cars.
Say, you wouldn't happen to have enough money to buy a Ferrari, would ya?

Actually, if Bungie still pwned the rights, it would be abandonware in three years or so.
And I can assure you that a whole bunch of Halo noobs would start playing on PM.net after seeing the front page news on Bungie.net.

Not so.
Bungie went into Microsoft because they were boned for cash. The Myth rights went out the window because Bungie were boned for cash.
It stands to reason, if they'd held onto the rights, it would only have happened if they *weren't* boned for cash, therefore delaying (or preventing completely) any sellout to Bill Gates.
But in this hypothetical world we just invented where the sellout never happened, I actually think there wouldn't have been a Myth 3 anyway. It's a nice place to finish the story.
