Numero Uno:

Due to Mariusnet's seemingly set up down time every week (Friday/Saturday, just as we try to organise games on it) we were gunna set up our own Metaserver, using the program on Mariusnet.com. Alls well, but I made a new interface for it, to make it look unique (nice brown texturing around the text boxes and stuff) but when I start clicking buttons it goes to the shit. I know William's asked this loads of times, but he still couldn't figure it out. How to make it work without the funky stuffups?

Numero Dousio:

How can I extract models from Myth III? I've played around with Vengeance, and I can view the models, but from what I can see there's no way to extract them into (insert 3d modelling program here). Any helpzorz?

Numero Treizo:

I only know one language, so my numbers are screwed up a little. Je suis le petit chocolat chaud?

Well! I dunno a thing about the marius goodies, but there is a version of the Mythserver here on magma (as made better by Mythdev and Myrd and others Im sure) that works. Just fire it up in OS X, etc etc. It really is cute.

Our problem was with the interface going all funky when you start clicking buttons. I should have explained it better. :P It's a beef with Myth, not the metaserver.

Well for the interface, the usual things first;
have you made sure that all new images have the same colour table as in their individual collections?
Have you attempted to re-position the buttons in any way (as that can be bad).

Those are the simple ones which I suspect you may have fine. iirc though I think that new interfaces require you to hex-edit some part of the plugin file so that they pre-load correctly. This may have changed with the newer server management system but I'm not sure.

Like Zeph stated, no. We learned that while working on the Iron Trow. I myself had researched and read over stuff from all over, from Flying Flip to old google archives. I even talked to Blades himself. Right now there is no way to do it.

That's why I am praying to Industry to try and see if he can incorporate Myth 3 into the new Amber, or at least the ability to extract skeletal models / animations, and the texture stacks (M3's collection equivalent).

Just let him finish his collection program as it is before pestering the poor person to do Myth 3 as well :P

Thing is that 3d formats are going to look very different in hex than collections, isolating the different bits is going to be a start from scratch for those pieces, and the format that Myth 3 imports isn't even a particularly standard one, it might not be an easy one to interpret at all :(
