LoE hasn't been cancelled, Khel has just disappeared again (last time he disappeared because someone stole his comps).

Last I saw him he was super updating some of the LoE models (and I mean High Res wow'ness).

yeah, they're not cancelled. But don't hold your breath waiting for a release :)

Disc could well have kept the levels for all I know, but unfortunately he vanished after Woods out Back & its doubtful he'll be back :\ Pity, because I owe him a thumping in B&G from years ago.

lank tries his best not to look guilty. he struggles masterfully for a few moments, but finally his posture caves and he runs away to hide around the corner where he can't be seen.

ah well... no oscar for me this year. :(

Hey. This is Ares. I remember that Wind Age level. I actually sorta liked it. It was more sneaking around, Silvermines-style, than combat. I seem to recall using the berserk to provoke battles between ghosts and the Dark, too, and having to figure out a very specific route to take. I don't at all remember what happened to it, nor do I have a copy of it. If anyone does manage to dig it up, knock yerselves out polishing it up and releasing it. I hereby grant permission. Good luck with that; I bet it's gone forever. By the way, are Teepens and TJ ever going to release anything more for TSG, that Battle for Urbarahz thing? I would like to play it sometime :)

Cheers!

Hey Ares, good to see you're still around :)

As I said earlier I really doubt that the Wind Age levels (there were two weren't there?) exist anymore, which is kinda sad but such is life. TP and TJ have both retired from Myth. Teeps was the main mover on Urbarahz, but with university etc he really didn't have the time to complete it, and after a few attempts to get it done during vacation he realized it wasn't going to happen :\

i only have a vague clue where it might be, but i might have a buggy alpha or beta of at least one of the levels that was originally scrapped. i don't remember how i got it, but i do remember that it looked nice. actually, with the 1.4+ patches the level might actually be stable - i remember saved games were prone to going oos.

good to see you around, aresâ„¢!

I spoke with Teep recently and he was working towards at least releasing the levels for TBU that were close to ready, so hopefully there will be something worth playing available soon.

Good to hear about TBU. That was a very promising plugin and after talking to him on hotline a year ago in which he seemed confident it would be released soonish. I got frustrated when that wasnt the case. But as we all know, real life can take quite an impact on releases.

Because I'm a stickler: Magma began just over 6 years ago. :P

Is it true that LoE contains some of Khel's real cool units like the Pyromancer from Mazz V?

yes it does, and a stack more plus some truly astonishing models (buildings) by Mauglir. I really hope it does get released one day.

And yes, ChrisP is right - Magma predates LoE. What Zeph should have said was that LoE was being made well before Khel/Maug joined Magma.
