Well, uh... nah. Not going there again
Oh who the fsck am I kidding: wod'asini an Myther from awhile back made a 1-armed watcher, which was not useful for Iron's project thus prompting the latter to create his 2-armed bad boy. Wod's watcher was never released publicly, and even though I was leaked it years back, it's none of my business in ther first place to re-leak but I can send a screen if you'd like.

You could try to extract The Watcher (with one arm of course) from The Fallen Levels (?) or maybe from the TFL Files themselves. However, I'm not sure what would happen and I doubt that The One-Armed Watcher can do any other sequences apart from Flinching with arrows stuck in its chest.Tireces wrote:Can any1 make a Watchers unit model with 1 hand only ? Sucky as this sounds, I think Wod's Watcher is a permanent resident of Decay-ville. He ain't going nowhere!Zeph wrote:and dont you think we could ask Wod to give us the right to use his unit instead of letting it decay on his Harddrive?
Okay I got the models but now I'm too dumb to do anything with 'em

But - as far as unreleased units go, I have the same stance that I have on vegetarianism.
Ok, so the animal died so you could eat, lay on the guilts:
But there is perfectly good meat sitting on shelves *waiting* to be cooked, and if you don't eat it, then you are insulting the memory of the animal that provided it! Unless we eat the meat, the animals death is meaningless.
And so... this is why the Watcher should be released from his prison under the mountains of Kor. I mean Wod's hard drive.

Actually, vegetarians may be responsible for just as many if not more animal deaths than omnivores. The tricky thing is, that a lot of animals are killed in the farming of grains and vegetables which vegetarians tend to eat more of.
I had read somewhere that the increased volume of grains and vegetables consumed by vegetarians was more than enough to make up for the few animal lives they saved by not eating meat.

You may have read this somewhere but I don't believe it is true.
If you are talking about the amount of land needed/amount of grain grown/amount of natural resources used to grow the food - as in "People who don't eat meat eat a lot more grains so it kind of evens out" - it's not even close. The specific numbers can be debated a little but raising meat is way more expensive environmentally, economically, and over-all resource-wise than raising grains.
Beef (and other meat) is really inefficient as a source of food. By the time a feedlot steer in the United States is ready for slaughter, it has consumed 2,700 pounds of grain and weighs approximately 1,050 pounds, of that only around 450 pounds is edible. Similarly it takes around @25 gallons of water to produce a pound of wheat, but it takes over @2000 gallons of water to produce a pound of beef.
So using the same resources you can raise beef and end up with 450 pounds of edible food, or grain and end up with 2700 pounds of edible food - and the grain is going to use 1/10th as much water, and take up less than 1/6th as much land space.
Also, in the US about 70-80% of grains grown goes to feeding livestock. If the resources that currently went into raising beef were used instead to raise grains you would end up with at least 6x as much food and you would use over 80% less water and a lot less energy.
