So after 8 year of playing myth I clicked on Fear icon for first time... take easy on me plz :): :laugh:

I wanted 2 edit Alric a bit on Gate of Storms level. Unfortunatly I have no what exactly should I edit.
I was looking in monsters folder ( good place, right? ) and founnd 5 or 6 alrics there - after editng all of em ( giving few more disperalls ) olny Alric (Emperors) had more( on Forge level ) Cant find good one for GoS :(

Open up Gate of Storms in Loathing, double click the units icon, and see which version of Alric appears in that level. That's the one you'll want to edit. There are special 1-level-only versions of many units, particularly the main characters, so the one you're looking for is likely to be called "08 alric" or something like that.

iirc Gate of Storms uses a script to determine the number of dispersals to give Alric (because he uses one up during the intro).

In loathing click the flag icon to bring up the script editor. Don't worry too much about scripting, just scroll through and see if you can find an action named such that it ought to be giving Alric ammunition, typically it will be a Unit Control (so will have "CTRL" beside it). If I remember right it is it almost right at the very end of the map actions list.
Once you find it, it should be fairly self-explanatory which part to change, or alternatively you can delete the parameter that adjust his ammunition if you want to make sure it uses the monster tag's default.

So if want 2 make a plug that will upgarde Alric on GoS level it (plug) need 2 contain level 9 changed mesh, right? No other way?

If you edited anything on that level through Loathing than yes you have to make that mesh file into the plugin. Well unless you go to Fear and let's say you go to Units... and to one of the units from that level... like a dwarf... edit it so its the modified Alric and when you play that level instead of dwarves you will see Alrics. That is the only way around it.

Since they decided to use script to change his ammo then yeah, the level has to be included, fortunately though that doesn't include the colour map so it won't make your plug-in uneccessarily huge :)
