Old school - abbreviations

Hi this may be a old topic but a friend of mine and i could not remeber what the abbreviations for certain rules in pvp for the first myth game.

The abbreviations were (cb) (ck) (cl)

They were not allowed in most multiplayer games but could not remember their meanings.

I know:

(cb) Carpet bomb
(cl) is chain-lightning
(ck) I cant remember what it meant or who did it.

any info on the last abv. would be helpfull

ck stands for chain-kick. It's basically the same bug as chain-lighntning, but it's when you use a trow (typically) to kick an enemy unit that would normally be out of range.

There were ppl who could though. Cap, rabs etc...

Sometimes reflecting lightning off water was banned too, as if it were a type of cl rather than being a feature of the game.

Chain Lightning the same as Leap Frog Lightning?

For example you target something say a hawk with two fetch, one fetch blows the bird appart while the other autoswitches target to an enemy unit at twice the distance that he should normally be able to?

no, in TFL chain lightning was something a highly skilled player could control. Basically it was a combination of a ctrl-click on the ground then a very fast click on a distant enemy unit. Done correctly the lightning bolt would then travel the huge distance to the enemy unit. Ditto with chain kicking.

I once saw a very amusing example of its use in a Shadow II game, where someone had an archer running from attackers but shooting at them backwards without turning around.

And no you can't do it in myth 2 - not even in vTFL (though some players really wanted it).

Heh chain kick was fun, but it wasn't only limited to trow. Any unit could do it. I got full TFL after i got sb spending all my time on TFL demo. I got many a laugh on grave cking with warriors.
