I just installed Myth worlds with all of the included plugins, after uninstalling the previous version and all that was in there. Now the menu is customized for Jinn (or whatever it's called ) and all the games appear red. Which file(s) in the Myth folder should I overwrite with the original myth file(s) to make this go away?

Thanks a lot.

You shouldn't keep Jinn or TSG in your plugins folder while you aren't using them...unless you're using the recent updated versions (Jinn 1.5, TSG 1.4, both found at Myth Addicts). If you use the old version, they overwrite the interface and a lot of the tags (only when they're in the plugins folder, of course).

that helped. Apparently when they get loaded at the beginning of the game they actually overwrite core game stuff. Didn't know plugins could do that.

That's actually how most plugins/maps work - they 'overwrite' the basic game 'tags'(data). It's why just about everything in the game can be (fairly) easily modified, from how things look, to the underlying physics of the game world, to the interface.
Lots of Myth stuff at http://mythgraveyard.org.
Sometimes I put hard to find stuff in my my Udogs folder.

Sadly I found out just how bad TSG can mess up Myth 2 the hard way....
I decided to look up in the sky, and lo and behold there was a BoB. I stared at him, and he stared back. There was silence for a great while until he said in a thunderous, booming voice..."Okay, Okay, DON'T Frogblast the ventcore."
