M III question

I have got 2 questions:
1) is there any way 2 change units colour with ballistic ?
2) I have tried 2 change Myrdreds "hold" dream to make it as powerfull as it was in M2. Everything looks like it was in M2, avatara hero can hold dream even without mana but... it works only agains small units... after killing Trow Iron Warrior Myrdred cant cast any spell for a veeeeeeeeeeeeeeery long time. Any idea why ?
