ebay has Myth 2 discs for 1 cent plus 6 bucks shipping (U.S.)

Hoot Loot sells them there.

Then head to playmyth.net for a patch and you are set. Then its just getting the latest PATCH and then plugins of the various maps that exist. They are found here at projectmagma.net and at playmyth.net.

Here is a good link:

http://froogle.google.com/froogle?q=sou ... ch+Froogle

The "Total Codex" contains:
* TFL CD
* Myth II CD
* A CD with the manuals and Myth Comic Book in .pdf plus a heap of plugins.

The only advantage is saving you the hassle of downloading and installing the plugins.

When you get Myth II, be sure to get the "Chimera" plugin if you like the single-player game.

It might be legal for you to simply download Myth II since you already bought a legitimate licence, but that depends on what Bungie's EULA's terms were :)

Chimera is on Total Codex which you didn't mention. The Comic Book wasn't on there I thought, but official TFL/SB strategy guides are.

TTC also included PDF versions of Sybex's Strategies and Secrets guides.

fyi: I am pretty sure the comic book was included on at least *some* of the total codex CDs.

A few of the plugins included in the Total Codex:

* Assassin! - A single-player map set in feudal Japan pitting one ninja against a Shogun's army.
* WWII Recon and WWII Titans - WWII-era combat with rifles, grenades, tanks.
* Wild West - Gunslingers fight it out with six-shooters, shotguns and dynamite.
* Civil War - The Blue versus the Grey with cavalry, cannon and rifles.
* Pirates of the Caribbean - Cutlasses, rum and wild monkeys.
* Worlds Collide - High-energy combat in an original sci-fi universe.

Actually...You don't need to go to play myth for any patches. All the goods are here at Magma. The totally awesome source of 'em!

Hmmm. The Project Magma Patch links are dead. Go to http://myth.busybsoftware.com/TheTain.net.html for the Patches.
