The fallen levels v2 -- bad crc?

Hi,

I downloaded "The Fallen Levels v2(Full Version)" from the Project Magma web site. When I tried to unpack it on WinXP with two seperate unzip programs they both fail. Neither gives any error output, so I tried unpacking it on a unix box. I get the following:

Archive: ../Magma - The Fallen Levels v2.zip
inflating: Magma - The Fallen Levels v2 bad CRC be80d089 (should be 54b4da58)

inflating: images/.DS_Store

I have double checked to make sure I downloaded the file correctly.

Is this a bad zip file or am I missing something?

There was a post about a simliar, if not the same, issue with the Fallen Levels. Here's a link to that topic.

If the Fallen Levels available on the udogs hotline server? If you, maybe you could go and snag it there.

I looked at that thread before I posted. I wasn't sure if it was the same problem -- the poster appeared to be using the patch, not the full version. The poster also did not mention anything about unzip problems. That said, both could be explained by corrupted archives...

Ah, I see what you are saying. Sorry if I mislead you, I just saw your post, remembered the earlier post about the plugin, and thought they were connected. I can't be of much help for the next day or so, but I'm sure someone else can give you some better advice.

no, unfortunately the archive was corrupted.

I've just now replaced it with a file that tests ok - I'm sorry that means another 140mb download though :\
