Invisible Observers on Multiplayer Maps

Post by Phex »

Hello,

I am wondering - when one team in a multiplayer game has an invisible observer, is it true that all other teams can also see what this observer can see?

Because thats happening on one of my maps and I ask myself if I messed up something or not.

regards,

that's why you shouldn't update your maps so fast

Did you set the invisible observer to a certain team? Or did you make it team -1? I'm not sure if it is possible but just an idea.

No, the other teams shouldnt be able to see that location, however when team 1's units are all dead, that invisible observer will still be alive, leaving the player with no units but a percent around the 1% mark left over, hooping them from finishing the map, or being eliminated. Invisible observers were created specifically for solo maps, I wouldn't mess with it.
