A SERIOUS BUG converning beta 2 of myth 2
The game start normally, but in the main title screen, whatever choice i make (preferences, start game, etc.) the game crashes! What is going on? I use 10.3 panther and have lots of memory, and nVidia geforce 4 mx

What sort of crash? Does it say anything like 'Myth has unexpectedly quit'? If it does then if you could go into the Apple System Profiler (click the Apple menu and choose "About this Mac" then hit "More Info...") and see if there is a crash log for the last time you tried Myth.

One thing to check in case you got the original (broken) installer is to check that your preferences and plug-ins folders both have read/write permissions for you (click them and choose Get Info from the file menu).

yes, just sounds like the permissions issue from the old installer. Either do a Get Info on your Myth 2 folder and change permissions so you can read and write its contents, or get the latest installer and run it.
