Captions
Captions
Does anyone know how to work the captions for pregame pics? I tried to put some in, but it would show the first caption on every pic instead of moving on down the list.
The cake is a lie.
Re: Captions
I am (easily) confused. Are you talking about the 'unit flavor' texts that display in the top bar when you select a unit? Or something different like scripting the text that displays in a solo map when you start the game - the 'prologue'?Khadrelt wrote:Does anyone know how to work the captions for pregame pics? Lots of Myth stuff at http://mythgraveyard.org.
Sometimes I put hard to find stuff in my my Udogs folder.

Neither.
I'm talking about the captions that appear underneath the smaller pics that appear during the pregame narration (i.e., in Willow Creek it shows a bunch of tired warriors, then switches to the mayor talking to the warriors, then finally switches to a bunch of warriors walking down a road).
In Fear there's a little drop-down menu in the Storyline section that says "Picture Captions," and if you select a string list it displays the first string as a caption underneath the pregame pictures. But so far it will only show the first string in the list, and it shows it under every picture.
I don't think this was ever used in the original Myth. Maybe it just doesn't work the way it was intended?
