Sweet news to release 1.6 and have The Tain up simulataneously - nice job all!
That said, I've installed the new 1.6 for Windows as both Classic and Windowed mode and they appear to be Build 286. I thought the final release was Build 289? Are they the same?

EDIT: I've just editted the item and made it download the 1.5.1 -> 1.6 updater, which is the correct Build 289. The Full Updater Build 289 will have to wait until CIK can find the right copy.
If you've downloaded the old copy (Windows), then please re-download. You can check by typing .version in metaserver lobby (Build 289 is the correct one).

Ok I just uploaded the installer again, I can't test it but it should install Build 289. It will be visible to the public once someone proves the edit to the 1.6 Windows page.
Yes the Delta build is fine to update anyone from 1.5.x to 1.6 Build 289. The full installer if really for updating Myth from versions prior to 1.5.1, esp fresh installs from CD.
There shouldn't be any problems with the versions available today, right? I'm about to DL the win 1.6 version, probably the full one since I don't care to much about bandwidth and it feels better to DL a bigger file
I powered it off after I made the builds and I won't be back in the office until Monday.
