I'd like to know if there is some kind of program which would let me to go backwards while playing films.
It would be VERYYYYYYYYYYY usefull for movie making.

Why not just reverse the movie clip in the editor?

going backwards while playing back the film is totally impossible the way the format works (it's just a series of commands which myth plays back).

As was suggested, if you need reverse video, you'll have to do it in the resulting video file you create out of the film.

I don't need reverse video
It's just that I'm lazy and relaunching the film / 16x speed until the good moment / pause to get ready. is getting boring...
