If you watch my film, you might get a few tips about keeping the gate clear of debris. Once you get swords and twigs lying around where you're blowing stuff up, your whole gate army can die slowly and mysteriously through multiple shaving nicks.Gjallarhorn wrote:Now I'm busy with the same thing on Legendary. It's a bit harder in the beginning, instead of using my zerks and fg's to kill the myrms, I use my dwarves and archers.
Also, try and keep the gate clear for your leader unit to get through. Pathfinding around the gate area is a total pig: you think you're heading back past the safety line, then your FG suddenly veers right, then back and forth a bit, taking a few arrows and getting a punch or two from a trow, then crosses back home. The more to one side you can get your archs and duffs, the better.
Clearing RoB is a game of patience. And it's repetitive. And pointless. I strongly recommend the Mojito angle.
