Question abou Jinn.
Question abou Jinn.
Was there ever a PDF or webpage, or even a .txt file that was included with Jinn, or on the site you downloaded it from? I'm very confused about the plot, and feel like a big explanatory piece is missing.
I decided to look up in the sky, and lo and behold there was a BoB. I stared at him, and he stared back. There was silence for a great while until he said in a thunderous, booming voice..."Okay, Okay, DON'T Frogblast the ventcore."

Yes of course it's a mirror Elf, that's why the url is mything.org and not vistagames.com. Of what use was pointing that out?The Elfoid wrote:(that's a mirror, the original site is defunct)

The ReadMe may have been on the Myth Worlds CD - It is possible and very likely that may be where the copy on mything.org originated from, but I can't recall off the top of my head.

Wait! Oh, man! Waaaaaait! Are you... are you saying that all those maps and things on mything.org is just a mirror?
And all this time I though VR was this really really talented guy with tons of time on his hands!
Obviously I have way too much time on my hands, but with the amount of time it took to track down all those maps and find descriptions of obscure maps I had never heard of on long dead myth sites if I really were that talented guy I could have created a ton of maps in the same amount of time I have spent writing code for and researching and maintaining mything.org.Killswitch wrote: Wait! Better hurry, didn't you hear? I heard that Myth II is going to dissapear in November of this year because a rogue programmer at Bungie planted a virus in the code that makes all the install on HDs and original CDs erase themselves on the 10 year anniversary of Myth's release. The Seeker wrote:Wheee, I now have a brand-new copy of Myth II: Worlds via eBay! Of course, I have no time to play it for quite some timeThe Elfoid wrote:Wasn't the ReadMe on Myth II Worlds too?
That's why the machine I play Myth on isn't connected to any internet time servers and has it's system clock set to December 1, 1942.

Should you or any of your Myth forces be caught or killed, the host will disavow any knowledge of your actions. This CD will self-destruct in five seconds. Good luck, captain.vinylrake wrote:Myth II is going to dissapear in November of this year because a rogue programmer at Bungie planted a virus in the code that makes all the install on HDs and original CDs erase themselves on the 10 year anniversary of Myth's release.
