Take 2 is dead.

On top of that it strikes me she has been successfully marketed as someone who is supposed to be attractive (touted as such and has a reputation as such). That makes her even less attractive to me.
And lastly, as an actress I wouldn't rate her very highly. I can't help thinking she's trying to act every time I see her, which unfortunately means she can't act. I don't find her believable as the characters she portrays. The only exception I've found so far to this was Lost in Translation, but there wasn't much acting there - she was mildly interesting but only because she was new.
Just tonight we saw The Prestige (which was about 30 minutes too long imo). I thought Scarlett's performance was overshadowed by both the woman who played Sarah and even the little girl that played Jess. They were both very believable while Scarlett was "Scarlett playing a late 19th century person - kind of". Seriously. She's like the female equivalent of Kevin Costner.
Finally saw Casino Royale last night and the woman on the white horse was about 10,000 times as attractive imo. I also thought Vesper was much more attractive than Scarlett when she was dressed casually - for example when she was getting ready for the tournament and when she was with James at the end of the movie.

Nope - I just don't find her attractive - never did. No depth. A non-event. Nothing special for me.vinylrake wrote:ps. Scarlett doesn't "do anything for you"? Granted she's more than a bit too young for some of us geezers, but good god man, what are you - DEAD?

Actually the only thing I've seen her in is "Lost in Translation" so I have a limited set of data points, and I wouldn't say she is necessarily the most classically beautiful or hottest female on the planet, but she rates very high in the girl-next-door-natural-beauty category.
And nothing personal, but if you compare her to Kevin the-human-marionette-Costner again I am going to have to punch you in the face.

I have also seen her in "Lost in Translation" only - and I'm not sure if I want to see her other movies. Dont get me wrong, she was rly great , definitly my type of woman - I just dont want to loose first great imperession but I think that all that good impersssion was rather specific role she played than D cup.

So do you work the same way with unattractive women, i.e. you worship tramps in the street?Baak wrote: On top of that it strikes me she has been successfully marketed as someone who is supposed to be attractive (touted as such and has a reputation as such).
