Two New Maps Released!

Post by Baak »

Triskelion v1.0g and StoneHeart RDF v2.2g are now available at the top of the OoH Downloads.

I'm planning on posting these to The Tain after we play them this weekend - during next week - along with some of my other plugins.

Enjoy! :)

P.S. Let me know if you have any problems with the d/l or zip files.

I had an unexpected break from work today so have gone ahead and submitted both these maps plus a handful of my unit/game conversions to The Tain. They are currently in the pending bin.

Have to say I am VERY impressed with the ease-of-use for submitting/editing/previewing submissions. :)

I'm holding off submitting RDF, UGR and a few more as I am just about to finish the latest versions of these.

Well I had a feeling we needed to play it once before posting it publicly... I've updated StoneHeart RDF to v2.2g (it's pending on The Tain and available now on the OoH Downloads page).

The Rumble maps were a little too dark for our Mac players, so I lightened them up and made the non-netgame scenery darken a bit as well. This was the one thing I changed in 2.1g other than tons of scripting for the inside maps. The Rumble maps look better now.

Now - like the Triskelion dark maps - these maps can look REALLY dark during the day when your eyes aren't adjusted, but play at night after you've been playing awhile and they can look too bright. So try them at different times and see what you think. I don't want to lighten them too much more because it takes away from the effect, but if it's consistently too dark (even after your eyes have adjusted at night - which requires at least 20 minutes in a darker environment), then I'll adjust it again. Feel free to PM me here or on the OoH Forums or post there to let me know.

Sorry for the inconvenience to the handful of folks who downloaded 2.1g.
