Looking for textures

Post by haravikk »

OMG, Haravikk making a map? It's been what, four years?! Okay, yes, and I'm looking for some decent textures. What I'm hoping someone has a good selection of is:
- Wooden floor-boards, preferably dark-wood and grainy
- Any plain wood textures (ie not floor-boards etc.), again, dark, old and grainy is ideal.
- Stone wall textures (again preferably darker stone, grimy with small amount of moss would be perfect, otherwise anything is good.
- White-washed wall textures. You know the kind, like sort of rough but mostly white, old-looking rather than freshly white-washed would be cool
- Anything else that would look good in a bar

Good sized/hi-res and tileable textures are preferred, I can do the tileable thing myself if I must but it won't be as good. I can then shrink down the textures as I require.

The map is Bar Room Brawl, I'm not telling anyone any more than that =)

Ha! As I was reading I was thinking: I wonder if that "Bar Room Brawl" plugin would help...

:D

Looking forward to playing it! ;)

I'll dig through my archives and see if I find anything.

what's up crazy horse!
you must check this link, you'll find the best photorealistic textures ever
though you need to photoshop them to create seamless textures as they are not seamless by themselves

They're not tilable, but they're so fucking big that you can just use the whole damn thing as 1 big layer :)

Here's another one you might like for indoor maps...

Cheers guys, I start the modelling work today, but with all this stuff I'm never gonna get it done as I'll have to choose which textures to use :P
