Windows 1.5.1 Updater needs 1.5.0, but where is it?

just took two OS X Tiger Macs (1 PPC, 1 Intel) thru the sequence:
no installation->1.5.1 Installer+master CD->1.6 Updater
successfully.

now I'm tackling Win XP SP2 laptop.
couldn't find an equivalent 1.5.1 Installer+master CD tool online.
so 1st: I installed from the master CD.
then downloaded the Windows 1.5.1 Updater
[have also d/l'd the 1.5.1->1.6 Updater in anticipation]

the 1.5.1 Updater launches, but its built-in Read Me content says it's a diff patch from 1.5.0.

if I let it run, it completes processing without error messages -- but then Myth II fails at launch with an error dialog warning about missing files, and suggests I re-run the 1.5.1 patcher (which doesn't help). I've gone back to Square 1 (Add/Remove Programs deinstall/reinstall from CD) 3 times so far...

a) I can't find a 1.5.0 patcher or Installer for Windows any place
b) also can't find a CD->1.5.1 or CD->1.6 Updater any place

any chance you can point me to the right Updater/Installer?

As far as I know, the latest 1.6 patch ca be applied on a fresh install from the CD. Here's the link:

That should be correct...a couple of friends went straight from CD to 1.6 no trouble.

I'd recommend a large install...in fact...you may have to...but I am not positive...

thanks, guys, for pointing me to this.

(the description in the listing for 1.6 could be clearer: I'd read it as only updating 1.5.x.)

however, when I got the 1.6 Updater, I ran into another problem. I've started another thread for it, because after a bunch of fruitless troubleshooting, I'm left wondering if the distribution file has become corrupted.
