Just when you thought it couldn't get any more stupid...

Post by Hula »

I got this flashing message while playing : "Out of Sync" and in the myth log it said: "OOS occurred at line 92 in monster_commands.c".
Any help would be appreciated.

Were you playing single or multi? Is there anything in your local folder? Which version and build of Myth are you using?

Hmm...I'm not too familiar with TFL problems, unfortunately. It's never given me an OOS. Maybe someone else knows more?

I personally dont know but I think its simulair to NWN scripting in which if the scripts get piled up or slow down (many scripts being run all at once) it will show debug messages like that.

OOS in single? Yuck!

OOS usually appears in multi when something occurs that un-syncs the players (due to the way that myth handles multiplayer). Can be corrupt files, players modifying a plugin so myth doesn't notice till it hits something different on two computers, and things like that. Never heard of it in single player before...

You may have to just dump it and reinstall and see if that helps.
