ok been going to marius when I get a chance... a few things..
order is gone.... is there a way to recreate orders?
stats I guess works by . whatever commands though can it be made to work and edit like it does on bnet?
the more this is made to feel like bnet or even pmnet for that matter the more apt people are to not resist transition...
can mariusnet do....
can mariusnet do....

Dot commands for stats is only required for TFL and CoOp stats. Myth2 stats appear in the game interface just like they always have on any other server.
What DA said about Orders is correct.
You register your Mnet account and then register an account at MythForums. There is an account linker page there that let's the two sites/databases reconcile you with each other.
Once that is done, you can register your Order with MythForums. In doing so you create your Order, but MythForums also creates a private forum for your Order to use as well as allowing for the creation of a Clan Map Standard from MythForums' Plugins Center. All your Ordermates need to do is do the same registration steps and then Join the Order using whatever password it is that you specified when you created it.
It is a couple of extra steps when compared to what Bungie or PMnet had, but that is because we're having to reconcile accounts from separate sites. This may change in the coming weeks as I am looking at merging MythForums & Mariusnet's websites.
As for it feeling more like Bnet, in my opinion it's felt more like Bnet longer than PMnet has existed... as much as the server itself can influence that (it'sthe people going there that really creates that feel).... the place just got a bad rap ages ago because of a select few "overzealous" admins and it's initial lack of ranked play.
***Also***
IF you had an Order on Mariusnet in the past, it IS still there... no Order info was lost, but the names of your Ordermates will be all black because their account info (such as screenname, colors, etc..) was wiped out. As soon as they log back in on those accounts, the list will look normal again.

stats
Stats
it seems you can type in the stats without the . commands though they dont save and are blank next time one looks...
would be great if the order process was smoother and having a built in order forum is also great... be sure to announce when the process gets smoothed out.

Clarification: IF it gets smoothed out.
The only way it changes is IF I go ahead with merging Mariusnet & MythForums. While this is quite likely (if for little else than I tire of checking more than one site per day ) I want to make sure that expectations are correct so that folks aren'tasking "When's it gonna be done?" because it's gonna be done when it's done, IF it's done
Do you mean entering text in the spots where stats would normally show? If so, that is a Magma thing, not Mariusnet or PlayMyth... marking those fields as Read Only is a client side function not server side.

Re: stats
That is because you are on a guest account. Get your own real account and that won't happen.Point wrote:Stats

Re: stats
Nope its on my reinstated mnet account ... everything I type in those fields vanishes...Pyro wrote:That is because you are on a guest account. Get your own real account and that won't happen.Point wrote:Stats

If you are referring to the profile fields such as City, State, Bio, etc...
Step 1: Check your profile, make sure your username is actually showing up in the username/login field.
If it is, I'm stumped. If it is not, log out anf edit your username to ensure you have removed the `infinity` character from the start of your username if you were previously logging in with a guest account. Leaving that character in will hose things up (in short, if your username, even when logged in normally, begins with that character, you are treated as a Guest account).

yep that fixed it...
the infinity sign was still on my name... once that was deleted it saved the info... thanks..
