help for a new myth 2 player

Post by reidscones »

Hey guys, I just started playing Myth II about 2 days ago and I have to say I'm addicted. Anyway, I had some questions. I feel like I'm missing something really basic here, but there seems to be a lot of solo mods I just can't figure out how to play. For instance, I'll say Gettysburg. I can't seem to actually get the mod started. I load the Gettysburg plugin & 1861 units plugin, and then what? It's a solo map (I think?) so I should be able to just play it, right? The only plugin I can seem to get fully working is Blue & Grey.
Anyway, any other good solo mods I should know about? Any general tips for a new player? etc
Thanks :)

When you play single player with a plugin activated you have to hold Shift while you click on Single Player for the new solo levels to appear. So go to single player and activate the plugin and cancel single player and hold shift while clicking on single player and ta da! In single player you can use F1 to slow down time and F2 to speed up time. Tab will close your overhead map and bring it back. Play the tutorial to learn some basics. There is a book icon above the overhead map that has tips for basic stuff if you wish to learn quicker.

Like so many others before us, we feared the Rainbow of Death.
