here you can see a pic of the pirate unit done in TGW beta7
as you can see the unit sprite is awesome, the walking animation is ok, though it walks too slow to my standards, but the attack animation is kind of gay, it stabs with the slashing sword as if it was a rapier not a slashing sword.
then you have a cannon and a unit named TIM which might be a magician
by the way dunno if the colour maps are original but some they look fantastic! could even try to obtain persmission to use some
