Play the Dark in Myth TFL

Not quite what you asked I know, but in addition to the Dark Campaign TFL plugin other TFL plugins that let you play as the dark include:

Light vs. Dark (LvD.gor) -- this lets you play Light v Dark multiplayer games (used to be at udogs hotline server don't know if it is still)

There is also a plug called MythDarkPatch (pc and mac versions) which is

"A nifty little patch that alters the single player levels so as to allow you to play new scenarios, with new units, and as the Dark side."

First link is Windows version, second is Mac.

Not for a lack of effort or creativity, but none of them tackled the idea of simply playing the campaign from the dark point of view - ya know, trying to kill Rurik, or whatever. Most Dark campaigns I've seen Cid play, were just cases of people changing the light units to dark units, vice versa, and altering the story.

if the goal is to kill rurik then wouldn't the entire myth storyline get butchered if you won?

Yeah, well, the storyline isn't really the point in a Dark campaign…

Honestly, though, there has to be some changes. It would be REALLY REALLY EASY to kill Ruric with that many Soulless, Thrall, and Ghôl at your disposal…heck, even just the Ghôl in the hands of an intelligent controller could easily accomplish the task. As with most of the maps.

Heh, yep, that's right. The best idea would be to make completely new dark campaign :)
