Nice.. nice : )

Few more words about orders: PPE if its possible it would be great to have more than one order manager or elders that can manage order. Also secondary url order link for forums or old/new site ( and maybe place for short bio or something ) would be extremaly cool.
No members limits right ? That aspect of orders sucked a bit on pm.net...

Tir, one step at a time eh buddy? The site's not even up and you're asking for loads :P Multiple links wouldn't be that complicated I guess, but I don't think it really matters much anymore...there's a thousand places providing a source of links to every site that matters already. And member limits to an order are there for a reason; it has been debated numerous times over.

Actually, i don't recall there being any good reason for order limits besides a limitation in pmnet's server code, but i may be mistaken.

It was to keep things competitive.

Nowadays orders don't really function at all outside of MWC season or the odd other tournie anyway. I don't see the point in going to any effort to allow unlimited members to an order given the only serious orders now are the tiny ones for Brazil and Italy, and The Nine.

Mariusnet has never had a limit to the number of members an Order can have (if it did, #CP# would have been screwed, lol) and unless the game engine itself bumps up against some internal limit it never will.

Initially, there will be nothing new added, it will be pretty much an exact port from MythForums. Down the road things may be enhanced a bit... I have an idea up my sleeve that would address everything you just mentioned. One problem that has to be addressed is some form of Change Logging so that the others can tell who has altered crap to prevent the inevitable "WTF changed the Clan Logo?" or "Who booted `Monkey Nuts` from the clan?". It is primarily that reason why it was always just the Founder that was permitted to change things... it greatly simplified things.

Actually, Having no order limits promotes lawlessness. Just look at these hooligans:

http://www.mythforums.com/Clan411.mf?cMF=Clan%20Plaid

http://www.mythforums.com/Clan411.mf?cMF=The%20Alliance

or these toothless n00bs

http://www.mythforums.com/Clan411.mf?cM ... 0Underdogs

Out. Of. Control. Cat-lovers. The lot of them.

Anyway, hot stuff PPE, hot stuff.

Elf, you are making global statements again, and you know that global statements are always wrong.

What do you call "functioning"? Other than saying "those guys are seriously into having fun" I doubt you could ever call OoH a "serious" order, but we currently have 19 _active_ members - and we function pretty well in the off-MWC-season.

Heh, I see vr already got to you. I wasn't gonna let that go either, mate! What're you even thinking? Elf, I really think that to you all myth is is MWC. MWC is only a few weeks of Myth. The rest of us live and breathe Myth 356* days/year (except the odd holiday!) MWC is nothing compared to that. And the rest of us include many people who *are in orders* -- Surprise! And people who are in orders may take exception to other people dismissing them out of hand. We count for something, we're "serious" about being in our orders and playing Myth. You and your global statements, sheesh!

I've been playing since you were 8! or mb 9! Yep, your great-grandmother and I used to gyre and gimble in the Wabe together.

So there.

And you wouldn't believe the "Frumius WightBlasts" on some of those games.

I used to go to PlayMyth, but that ones seems to be dead.

I got my Marius password and all, but there was no one online -- How many active players are there actually ?

I am on Marius just about daily. As for the MWC...I love it and hate it. Love it cause it gets old friends back..hate it cause the team I join usually goes up against 4-5 trow teams..and it just ain't no fun. :P
More ppl would prolly get on Marius if you named it "World of Diomedes" or something.

Most players are from USA and server activity is very timezone dependent. Your best bet to see more people online would be on weekends, probably.
