REQUEST: automatically save films of all games played

Post by princepawn-gru »

I play competition matches where I must save the films. But of course, I occasionally forget. I would like to have an auto-save feature.

Preferably one that gives the films descriptive names and puts them in folders... actually it would be nice if there were a mini-language syntax so we could do what we wanted:

%YYYY-%MM-%DD/%MAP-%GAME-%HH:%MM:%SS

would have to a folder 2007-09-27/ctf-gimble-11:44::12

this would be a great option to be able to turn on or off (perhaps via a .ini file).

For what it's worth I'm pretty sure baak has a program that will solve this problem independent of any changes to myth. maybe poke around http://www.orderofhpak.com/ website
Want to play Myth? New and old Myth players can playmyth online at Mariusnet.com.

Yeah talk to baak about some kind of windows film auto saver/rename thingie.

I have a Mac OS X "Myth 2 Automatic Film Saver" pgm I wrote that you just start up before you start playing Myth (you could put it in your startup items folder if you are REALLY forgetful) and it saves any films created while it's running (sits in the background and monitors your recordings folder). Unfortunately the program seems to only work for me.
Lots of Myth stuff at http://mythgraveyard.org.
Sometimes I put hard to find stuff in my my Udogs folder.
