So, i don't mean to discourage anyone from trying anything new, but it seems to me that the tain is already a perfect match for what you describe, you can upload a file, mark it as beta, then download it! what's more, there is a commenting system, and if someone were enterprising, they could start a forum threads (perhaps even in a new category called Plugin development), and then provide a link to that thread in the description of their tain entry.

Once the plugin is done, upload a new copy, and uncheck the "beta" checkbox.

Good idea doobs, and the tain rules allready.

At the very least it seems evreybody knows there needs to be a pool of testers for current projects, and skilled advice.

Updates about currect builds UL/DL page, forum page/threads.

ill set on up on the tain later and see how it works for our current new Giant assed Battle For Covenant COOP map.

I think one problem with The Tain, is items need to be approved, before showing up. We'd need to add more users as moderators who can approve items, so that items get put up in a timely manner (as currently, there can be a few days delay, since we don't have that many people who regularly go to check and approve stuff).

We now have a few more people who can approve items. So, feel free to upload betas to it, and provide us with feedback on what can be improved.
