GDI I need TFL install skillz

Post by Oroboros »

I'm trying to re-install Myth:TFL on MacOS 10.4, no Classic partition.

I have TFL 1.3 on CD (I'm amazed my Total Codex discs still work) but because the installer only runs on Classic, the installer doesn't work.

I tried dragging the Myth The Fallen Lords Æ’ folder to the HD, and d/led the 1.5 update from Magma. I And here's where things turn to custard.

Whenever I try running 1.5, I keep getting asked for the tags.gor file on the CD. So I C/P the modules and tags folder from the CD into the TFL folder and eject the disk. No joy - When I eject the CD, it keeps asking specifically for the tags.gor file on the CD.I also copy artsound.gor and cutscene.gor files across too. I'm not sure where they go.

So... two questions. WTF am I overlooking? Can someone flick me a list of what should be in which folder (or a screenshot)?

Cheers,

DA retroactively saves the day!

You need...everything that is in that folder.

Which I think is probably:

artsound.gor
tags.gor
local.cor
scrap.gor
private.gor

Folders:
private
plugins
local

Cheers guys. I took a shortcut and copied an installed TFL folder from another comp.

Vinyl: My first move was exactly the search you did. It didn't help, that's why asked, but cheers.
