fyi: I could have responded to Ren's post in one sentence or not even responded, but the excessively long post you refer to as trollish was meant as _humor_. I was aping the style of the kind of post where a person goes on excessively long over the top rants at the tiniest perceived provocation. Actually I think there's a certain amount of humor to be found in the observation that you interpreted my imitative post as being trollish, but don't see that in the posts I was mimicking.

1. Someone says something (perhaps directed at Ren or as a reply to one of his posts or perhaps not).
2. Ren goes nutso.
3. Other poster goes nutso.
4. ooga feels the need to defend Ren and goes nutso.
5. Everyone and their bucket gets dragged into a pointless "oneupmanship" flame war, with none of the nutso posters giving any ground.
If you guys are so content in throwing flame wars why not build a new forum for that purpose and leave ProjMag forums alone?

A couple of days or weeks go by with none of the principles involved doing any flaming and someone who wasn't involved in the conversation feels the need to add his/her 2 cents to the topic, often criticizing one person or another (or everyone involved) which intentionally or not fans the flames and reignites the topic.

i was even burying it under some other neutral posts lolI didn't mean to bring the thread up from the dead, I was just making a general observation about the continual battling bursting out on Magma forums. It's just a shame that a place were people are supposed to get along and help each other out keeping Myth alive, is instead an Arena where people are going "nutso" at one another for percieved wrong doings. It just seems that unless the issue is addressed once and for all you can bet for sure that another fight will burst out in another thread at somepoint.
