Finally got around to doing a comprehensive update to the OoH's Mything Links page.
I took all the original hard-coded (aieeee!) information, extracted it, delicately brushed away the encrusted dirt, and now have it all database-driven and easy to modify/re-order.
And for you geeks in the audience, I even wrote a PHP script that automatically goes through the links, makes any failed links inactive (grays them out), and even substitutes new URI's for redirects to keep it all up to date. Yowza. I still went through them all and thinned out the really old/unused ones, while leaving some up even though they don't have any current link. I've also re-organized things and put an "Essentials" list of links at the top. And to be even more uber-geeky, the whole page is XHTML 1.0 Strict / CSS 2.1 compliant and about 80% smaller.
All-in-all I believe it is very complete and comprehensive, but I'm always looking for new Myth-related sites and any information on relocated sites (sadly I think most of the dead ones are dead for good).
Cheers.
Mything Links Updated
Danke.
Re-worked the Marathon links a little to make them even better.
Anyone have the "hi-res landscapes" from the Extras links on this page:
http://source.bungie.org/get/ ? It goes to Fileball and I can't seem to find the file under their ftp stuff (hard to find).

The link on the url you provided : http://lhowon.org/TotalTextureEnhancementv61.zip is working fine for me. It's a 226MB file so it's not DONE yet, but it's been downloading for the past 5m with no errors.
a maybe useful marathon link for you:

Lots of Myth stuff at http://mythgraveyard.org.
Sometimes I put hard to find stuff in my my Udogs folder.

You're referring to the "hi res textures" link - the one next to it is "hi res landscapes" which unfortunately dumps you into Fireball which has a link to its vast ftp site:
http://fileball.net/marathon/item.fb?910250826
The other link I do have on there - it's #2, listed as "Marathon Installation Guide" since I thought lots of it was useful to both PC and Mac users even though the title is "Marathon (on Windows) for Dummies".
I also have noticed two different "latest versions" for Aleph One. The one from sourceforge appears to be the right one (2007-11-03) but often people seem to have 2007-10-20, which is why I think they have problems joining (see the changelog for the exact bug that was fixed). I'll post this on the MariusNet Marathon forums.
