weird warlock bug

so this happened to me today :

That has always happened when you get too close to high edge tower like places. Also happens on clash. Its been around forever and can easily be reproduced but doesn't happen often so thats prob why bungie didnt do anything about it before they came out with patch 1.3.

It also does this with the warlock fire ring, spirals up and actually looks pretty cool.

Yeah, it's a known bug. If you're a mapmaker there's a flag to set to fix it for new maps ("object cannot be deflected"). The bugfix is not on by default because some maps/plugins depended on it (ex: weirdobodomons).

just remember teh noise a fireball makes when it flys strait up in the air is "WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

BTW anybody ever notice that lock fireballs the the ONLY thing in myth that cant kill the unit that created it with freindly fire damnage?

seems to be in keeping with all other myth stuff, the fireballs should kill the caster as well if they splode too close to him.

happens in WW2:recon if you fire an RPG on the edge of a steep hill!
