has this forum gone to shit or what, I think I'll move on...

90% of the stuff posted these days is nonsense or people being annoyed with eachother. I just dont feel like filtering through it anymore just to get some good information or inspiration, there's hardly any real sharing of knowledge happening anymore, such a shame...

I guess I'll take a break and see if it'll go to normal in a few months...

Well to be fair Giz, this topic at least has an accurate subject, and it was posted in the 'General Discussion' section, it's not like you went to the 'Mapmaking Support' section and opened a topic called something like "Myth TFL Low Res Scenery" and found yourself in the middle of a petty name-calling feud.

Seriously, do you think it's fair to expect any myth related information or inspiration from a 'General Discussion' topic called 'Communication in the Digital Age"?

If the forum content is bad here, stick around and help make it better. Post meaningful content, ask useful questions, that sort of thing.

Being fair, Horus could have been giggling for all kinds of reason. The guy has several screws loose.
Well you try being a 10,000 year old God stuck in the reincarnation cycle...

Which is why I was giggling like a gremlin (note Gremlins are not trolls).

What we need is an M2 port of Torpidinium. Ooga and I met on that map 10 years ago....! (=/- part of a year.)

This is exactly what vr and Giz* are talking about: good communication, which involves staying on topic.

Nevermind.

* I'm not sure, but that sounds like a nick name that could stick on a person.

YES! I still recall downloading Torp from The Mill, only to discover (after trying to load it) that it was for Myth TFL. That was so long ago I didn't even know what Myth TFL was...

That map was on my list to port someday(tm), but I gave up on it when I heard rumors iron was toying with the idea...

OMG is that a good idea, or what?!!

Yes Baak ALL fisj maps should be ported from TFL to myth 2.

NOt only was fisj an awesome/talented cool guy, he was also one of myth's
very first ALL new content champions.

Playing with fisj and vodi on the levels of myth 3 that they created (all the good ones) was a real treat.

if you need any help testing the ports Baak, drop me a line

I seem to remember walking by a teleporter and Frum's lone trow coming out and kicking the crap out of me.

Torp definitely needs a comeback - myopia just isnt the same!

myopia is also often painfully laggy in 1.6 (maybe earlier too) I like the map a lot, I just can't bear playing with that much lag.
