Anyone play Polycon back in the day? Any comments?
Also: does anyone have any contact information for any of its members?
I'm debating making a Polycon Anywhere in the Anywhere series' next incarnation, so am interested both in players' experience with the game and any contact information for the original author(s).

Polycon was very ambitious, well ahead of its time. If Inventory had existed in Myth back then, it certainly would have used it.
The units were a bit ho-hum to be honest, but the creator did his best, which is all anyone can ask. His name btw was Anubis TTP, who was a member of Smiths of Muirthemne. Its been a long long time since I've spoken with him, and I'm afraid I don't have any contact info.

Excellent info, iron.
Was really impressed with the initial impression (manual, etc.). Always fun for me going through a conversion (as I've done for so many now) as it's almost like an archaeologist or something. I see things and how they evolved and try to see them from their creator's standpoint. Fun stuff.
Think it just might merit an AW plugin depending how it plays out.

I tell a lie - he just popped up in the ancient Smiths forum: http://www.network54.com/Forum/85943/me ... e+for+2008
It'll probably be late 2009 before he looks there again though
